WYKOTA RANCH HUNTING PRESERVE
“THE REDNECK COUNTRY CLUB”
Wykota Ranch is a 1st class Redneck operation. As of July 2007 we have added another 40 acres to the ranch, along with better housing. The 3 bedroom bunk house (sleeps 7 comfortably), complete with a full kitchen and full bath can be reserved for $500/night (* US FUNDS ONLY). Maid service will be provided upon request. All other hunters will stay in the cabin on the south-40 if they want to experience the full outdoor experience $50/night. (No running water, wood stove heat, and you sleep on a army cot)
We do offer the best service this side of the Rockies. There isn't much game that we don‘t offer. We have a variety of Big Game animals; Buffalo, Elk, whitetail deer, mule deer, even antelope. (mule deer most abundant) Also we have one of the best fishing spots this side of the Mississippi River. There are large rainbow, and brown trout, huge large mouth bass, and crappie to catch on any of our 6 over stocked ponds. With that being said, we do occasionally have exceptional animals on the ranch. All racks are gross scored and subject to be measured by the Wykota ranch scoring system, which is similar to, but different then that of the Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett clubs. All racks will be scored by an official scorer that being the owner of the ranch or acting foreman. All money is payable upon scoring of the rack, and a deposit for all hunts is $1,500 non-refundable. We are booking for the 2007-2010 seasons, and spots are going at rapid pace, so book now!
All transportation will be provided to and from your stand each trip afield. There will be no hunting without a guide, each hunter will be provided his/her own personal guide. No one shoots an animal until the guide gives the okay! As soon as you draw blood on a animal you are hunting your hunt is over. Any person shooting a animal not authorized by his/her guide will pay a fine of $25,000 on top on your hunting fee, no exceptions!!! There will be no mistakes, we always make sure of are target.
-3 meals/day will be provided -each guide will have a radio to contact headquarters if needed -all stands have heaters and good shooting rests -we have a 100 yard rifle range to site your rifles in, if needed -we have a 3-D course to fine tune your bows -we have a trap shooting range to warm up on prior to your bird hunt -all hunters will sign a liability waiver prior to hunting w/and or accordance to all rules & regulations enforced at Wykota Ranch. MULE DEER HUNTS:
under 100" $2,500 fine can never return 100"-135" $2,000
136"-150" $4,000
151"-175" $6,000
176"-190" $12,000
191"-200" $15,000
201" and up an additional $2,000 per inch ELK HUNTS:
$750.00 cow hunts
$3,000 any non-trophy bull
$4,000 4x4
$5,000 5x5
$10,000 6x6
$15,000 anything bigger then 6x6
Additional $2,500 for every 50 inches over 200”
There are also additional fees as follows:
$250 per day guide fee
$150 gutting fee, except Buffalo $350
$500 processing fee (we will vaccum seal all meat on site)
$150 skinning fee
$100 photo fee, we have a professional photographer on site
$350/day non-hunting guest fee
$400/day photography trips, (escorted around ranch 1st day with a member of our staff)
ANY WHITETAIL SHOT ON PROPERTY IS $15,000 FINE BUCK OR DOE
*These are very sought after and very elusive creatures. You should feel lucky to see one. If you do happen to shoot one you will not be asked to come back again. Shoot one and see what happens, you won’t feel so lucky!!
ANTELOPE HUNTS:
$1,000 doe
$3,000 buck under 14”
$5,000 buck over 14” with a $1,000 per additional inch there after
Buffalo Hunts: $1,300.00 for any non-trophy $2,500.00 for any trophy
Fly fishing:FISHING - Fully guided fishing trips only:
Barbless hooks only
$1,000 full day and $500 ½ day, includes pond side lunch, your choice of beverage
Catch and release only
$250 fee per fish killed
$100 additional fee per inch for any fish over 20”
Spinning reel fishing:
Limit to 2 hooks per lure
One hook needs to be snipped of each treble hook
Any fish caught and killed while spin reel fishing $400 fee
$100 additional fee per inch for any fish over 20”
* all additional fees are subject to change with accordance to restocking fees
GAME BIRD HUNTS:
$250.00 per gun per day, irregardless of age
Pheasants $65 per bird, no less then 6
Quail $75 per bird, no less then 12
Chukar $50 per bird, no less then 10
Lady Amherst $250 per bird, no more then 2
California Valley Quail $ 80 per bird, no less then 6
*planting of birds will require an additional fee of $10 per bird for gas **dogs are not provided, but for $500 per day one will be shot gun shells can be purchased on site for $20.00 per box (25)
VARMINT HUNTS:
All predator hunts will be fully guided for a fee of $550 per gun full day
Notes:
Fox hunts, only after Nov. 1st
Bobcats hunts only after Dec. 1st
Coyotes anytime day or night
(fox & bobcat hunters must obtain a furbearer license)
*no additional trophy fees for any other predator
*dogs are not provided, but for $500 per day one will be
** all funds are US , keep in mind our friends here at Wykota call us “CASH”
WE DO OFFER SPECIAL COMBO HUNTS AS WELL: RATES ARE FLEXIBLE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE UPON DEMAND, AND AVAILIBITY.
They are on a first come, first serve bases, with all rates being set by the Owner.
We have a taxidermist on staff to handle all the arrangements needed for your trophy at a very reasonable market rate as well. All of us here at Wykota Ranch look forward to booking your hunt and taking you on the hunt of a lifetime, of which the memories will last even longer…..
